Am letzten Schultag diskutieren alle ihre Pläne für den Sommer. Brenda befürchtet, dass sie schwanger ist und macht einen Test. Das Ergebnis ist unsicher, deshalb geht sie noch zum Frauenarzt, der sie schließlich beruhigt. Cindy findet die Schachtel mit dem Schwangerschaftstest und konfrontiert Brenda damit. Die Eltern sind sehr aufgeregt, und Brenda macht mit Dylan Schluss, weil sie sich noch nicht erwachsen genug für diese Aufregung findet. Brandon möchte sich ein neues Auto kaufen und hält nach einem Job Ausschau, der besser bezahlt ist als der im Peach Pit. Er fällt durch die Prüfung zum Rettungsschwimmer, ihm wird aber ein Job im Beach Club angeboten. Weil er sofort anfangen muss, tut er dies, ohne Nat eine Nachricht zu hinterlassen. Er fühlt sich aber schuldig und kehrt zu Nat zurück. Dieser will jedoch nichts mehr von ihm wissen. Brenda, Andrea und David beschließen, den Sommer über an einer Schauspielklasse teilzunehmen.

Brandon muss mit dem Bus zum Club fahren, während er auf ein neues Auto spart. Er lernt ein Clubmitglied, Jerry, kennen, der ihm ein lukratives Angebot macht und ihm anbietet, ihm den Wagen zu kaufen. Jim regt sich darüber auf und will, dass Brandon ehrlich spart. Außerdem nimmt er sich Jerry, der ein Kunde bei ihm ist, zur Brust. Die Walshes besuchen den Beach Club, fühlen sich dort aber nicht wohl. Brandon lernt Sandy kennen, die ebenfalls im Club arbeitet, und trifft sich mit ihr trotz Dylans Warnungen. Er findet schließlich heraus, dass sie und Jerry eine außereheliche Affäre haben und verliert damit alle Illusionen über Jerry. Brenda geht Dylan aus dem Weg, indem sie sich in den Schauspielunterricht hineinsteigert. Ihre Schauspielabenteuer bringen sie außerdem dazu, dass sie sich an Situationen aus ihrer Kindheit erinnert.

Als die Walshes fernsehen, erfahren sie in den Nachrichten, dass Dylans Vater, Jack McKay, wegen Steuerhinterziehung verhaftet worden ist. Brenda versucht, ihn zu erreichen, doch Dylan ist trotz des schlechten Wetters zum Surfen gefahren. Er verletzt sich schwer, als er unter gefährlichen Bedingungen surft. Dies veranlasst die Walshes, ihn zu sich ziehen zu lassen, was wiederum gemischte Gefühle bei Brenda verursacht. Im Schauspielunterricht muss Brenda einen Hamlet-Dialog rezitieren, und Donna und David spielen eine Szene aus "Romeo und Julia". Kelly und ihre Mutter halten am Strand Ausschau nach ansehnlichen Männern. Kellys Date mit einem Volleyballspieler wird zu einem Reinfall, weil er Angst hat, mit einer Frau zu schlafen und schließlich zugibt, schwul zu sein.

Jim Walsh schlägt vor, daß Dylan zur Abwechslung nach Hawaii fliegen und seine Mutter besuchen sollte. Steve und Brandon organisieren nächtliche Pokersessions im Beach Club, wo ein Betrüger Dylan um all sein Geld bringt. Brenda und Donna sonnen sich am Strand, wo Brenda einschläft und sich einen gefährlichen Sonnenbrand einfängt. Dylan is still staying at the Walsh house, depressed about his father and on the skids with Brenda. He decides to visit his mother in Hawaii, pawning his stereo and television to buy the plane ticket. Steve and the guys break into the beach club to play poker at night, which disturbs Brandon, but he eventually decides to participate. At the second game, the whole gang attends, dressed in 1940s gangster clothing. Dylan shows up, loses lots of money, and storms out. The next morning, Henry, Brandon's boss, finds that the club's been robbed of stereo and television equipment. Everybody but Brenda suspects Dylan. The police arrest Dylan because of the equipment in his car, and also pressure Henry because he is black and has a record. Others are later caught for the crime, exonerating Dylan and Henry. The Walshes see Dylan off to Hawaii.

A man approaches their table and offers his dental services; the two are immediately attracted to one another. The man is Mel Silver, David's father, which upsets Kelly because she loathes the idea of having more contact with David. Mel and Jackie begin to date. Andrea asks Brandon to be a Big Brother to Felix, a disadvantaged child. Brandon discovers that Felix's mother abuses him. He confronts Felix's mother, who tearfully confesses, and Felix is put into a foster home. Kelly joins her mother, Mel, and David for dinner, and is quite obnoxious. She later apologizes, admitting that she fears her mother will have yet another dysfunctional relationship, and she and David strike a truce. Dylan phones Brenda from Hawaii but the call is cut off.

Brandon ist endlich in der Lage, sich sein neues Auto zu kaufen, doch dummerweise sind nicht alle Teile des Autos in fahrbereitem verkehrssicheren Zustand, was seinen Vater sehr aufregt, der unzufrieden über Brandons Handeln beim Kauf des Autos ist. Cute drama instructor Chris Suitor pairs Andrea and Brenda for a class project. Andrea is obsessed with getting a good grade. Both girls have crushes on Chris and begin to compete for his affections, but he asks Andrea out. Brenda is crushed. Later Andrea discovers that Chris has a girlfriend in Chicago; she and Brenda make up. Brandon has saved enough to buy his Mustang. He purchases it against Jim's wishes and it breaks down on the way home, which infuriates Jim. Brandon goes to the Peach Pit to get his old job back but Nat doesn't need him. Jim and Cindy surprise Brandon by having the Mustang's engine overhauled because he worked so hard all summer. Brandon eventually gets his job back. Dylan returns from Hawaii and Brenda is glad to see him, but they do not reunite romantically. All celebrate at the beach club's end-of-summer luau.

Brandon and Andrea borrow some firewood from the couple next door, who are in a state of newly wedded bliss. Steve tries to buy alcohol and is scammed. Everybody is miserable, so Andrea praises the happiness of the couple next door. The group debates the futility of marriage. The woman next door shows up, having fought with her husband. The group discusses unwanted children and divorce. Dylan is disgusted and storms out. Brenda follows, but he yells at her for not loving him. The next day Dylan and Brandon go on a hike; Brandon slips off a cliff and Dylan saves his life, which restores Dylan's confidence.

Both Dylan and Brandon have dates with Emily; both kiss her. She makes friends with the girls and they plan to perform a parody of the song "Addicted to Love" as "Addicted to Clothes" at West Beverly's Hello Day. Brenda is upset about Dylan and Emily, and the girls collectively decide that Emily is a slut. Brenda explodes at Emily at a Walsh barbecue; Emily is ostracized. Brenda apologizes to Emily and the girls perform "Breaking Up Is Hard to Do." Dylan and Brenda get back together, and Brandon and Emily continue to date. David´s friend Scott returns from a summer in Oklahoma with new interests in country music, fireworks, and guns; David worries that he's outgrown Scott.

Der Beverly Blaze bekommt einen neuen Mitarbeiter, den Fotograf Robinson Ash III. Dieser ist zwar froh, den Job gekriegt zu haben, aber unglücklich über seine Aufnahme in Beverly Hills. Währenddessen versucht die Walsh-Familie, ein neues Alarmsystem für ihr Haus zu installieren, das aber mehr Ärger als Nutzen einbringt. The Walshes host a Neighborhood Watch meeting. A black family, the Ashes, has moved in down the street, and the neighbors exhibit racism, but Cindy delivers a casserole. Brandon meets the Ashe son, Robbie, who wants to be the new school photographer. While driving Robbie home, Brandon collides with Robbie's sister, Charise. After initial animosity, the two become friendly, and Brandon learns that Charise has a boyfriend, Devo, in the family's old neighborhood, whom she's been forbidden to see. The Walshes' new alarm system accidentally goes off and a nosy neighbor calls the security patrol; the furtively visiting Devo is arrested and beaten up because he's black. Brandon visits Devo to hear his story, writes a front-page expose (illustrated with Robbie's photographs), and Devo is embraced into the Ashe family. Dylan's mother is coming to town, but Dylan is oddly reluctant to let Brenda meet her.

Dylans Mutter Iris macht einen Überraschungsbesuch in Beverly Hills, um eine neue Beziehung zu Dylan aufzubauen. Dylan explodes, storms out, and gets drunk while playing billiards. Brenda tells him she can't see him if he drinks. Brandon accompanies Dylan to the pool hall the next day, but Dylan gets drunk and is beaten up by pool-shark ruffians. Iris and Dylan talk, and Iris informs him that Dylan's father paid her not to see Dylan and turns over to him a trust fund she set up with his father's dirty money, to be managed by Jim Walsh. Iris returns to Hawaii, and Dylan goes to Alcoholics Anonymous. Donna and Steve play the stock market; Steve mistrusts Donna's judgment, but Donna triumphs.

Ein Cousin der Familie Walsh, der im Rollstuhl sitzt, kommt zu Besuch nach Beverly Hills, und Kelly erforscht seine Beweglichkeit. Brenda takes her driving test for the third time and passes, but she's scared to drive. Bobby, Brandon and Brenda's cousin, arrives to visit UCLA. Bobby is in a wheelchair. Kelly meets Bobby and the two are attracted to one another and kiss. After a horseback-riding date, Bobby and Kelly attend a party with the gang. Bobby is depressed because he can't participate fully and feels Kelly has rejected him. Bobby and Brandon talk, and Brandon admits to feeling responsibility for Bobby's skiing accident. Bobby says life is hard in a wheelchair and that he'll never find love. Kelly visits Bobby and says he's got it all wrong; she does like him, and hopes to see him when he returns to Los Angeles. Brenda overcomes her fear of driving and takes Bobby to the airport. David asks Donna out; she's flattered but says she'll let him know later.

[Down and out of District in Beverly Hills] (10/17/91)

Andreas Erfolg in einem Zeitungsartikel-Wettbewerb deckt die Tatsache auf, daß sie außerhalb des Bezirks West Beverly High wohnt. Dies wird noch verschlimmert, als sie entdeckt, daß ihre Großmutter nicht darauf vorbereitet ist zu lügen, damit Andrea auf der West Beverly High bleiben kann. Steves Verabredung ist stärker an seinem Geld als an seiner Person interessiert. Brandon has entered an article Andrea wrote about cafeteria food in a journalism competition; she fears the school will discover that she lives out of district. In order to attend West Beverly, Andrea has told the school that she lives with her grandmother, Rose. When Andrea wins the prize, the committee wants to visit her home, but Rose, in a rift with Andrea's mother, refuses to lie about Andrea's status. An investigation is set up and Andrea moves in with Rose for the days preceding the investigator's visit. The girls help Andrea fix up Rose's apartment so it looks like a teenager lives there. Rose still refuses to lie; Andrea is desperate and decides to move out, ending the charade. When Andrea returns to pick up her things, the investigator is chatting with Rose, who has come through in a pinch--Andrea can stay at West Beverly. Steve dates a girl who is only interested in his money.

Brandon macht einen Spaziergang mit Emily und ihren zwei jüngeren Cousins, die auf dem Weg verloren gehen. David und Scott erwägen, an einem möglichen Eier-Wurf-Kampf mitzumachen. Brenda and Dylan dress as Bonnie and Clyde, Kelly as a sexy witch, Steve as Zorro, and Donna as an immobilized mermaid. At the party, Kelly meets a college guy dressed as a cowboy. They dance together and go upstairs. He locks the door and attempts to rape her; she screams and the gang bursts in. Steve punches him for attacking "the girl he loves." Emily Valentine comes to the Walsh house, trick-or-treating with her niece and nephew. Brandon joins, but they lose the twins and conduct a panicked search before finding the kids back at the Walsh house. Emily and Brandon drive to the Peach Pit and are egged by Scott and David.

Scotts Geburtstag rückt näher, und seine Mutter, Pat Scanlon, übergibt David die Verantwortung, Scotts Freunde einzuladen (was für ihn keine leichte Aufgabe wird. West Beverly High is celebrating its fiftieth birthday. Emily and Brandon intensify their relationship, which makes Andrea jealous. David continues to feel that he has grown beyond Scott, responding to Scott's friendship overtures with rudeness. Scott's mother asks David to invite people to Scott's surprise birthday party. David complies but finds Scott has no friends and convinces the gang to come to the party, which is a dud. Scott's mother treats them like they're children and kicks out Emily and Brandon for kissing; everybody leaves. Scott accuses David of renouncing their friendship for new cool friends. Scott goes upstairs and finds his father's gun; David enters the room to find Scott playfully twirling the gun, and Scott accidentally shoots himself. There is a funeral, and suddenly everybody hypocritically pretends that they miss Scott, which upsets David. David puts Scott's favorite cowboy hat in the West Beverly time capsule and heals himself.

Die Clique besucht einen "nicht ganz legalen" Untergrundclub, und Emily führt Brandon in die Welt der Drogen ein. Brandons Auto durchläuft eine weitere Stufe in seinem Lebenszyklus. Brandon and Emily are getting along famously. She tells the group about an underground party called "Egg"; in order to find the party, one goes to a certain convenience store, hands the clerk an egg, and receives directions. The gang arrives at the party, which feels dangerous; it's a rave. David gets too drunk. Emily slips a drug called U4EA in Brandon's soda. He's angry, but soon starts to feel great. David gets sick, so Kelly and Donna take him home. Brenda and Dylan realize Brandon and Emily are high and won't leave, so Dylan takes Brandon's keys. When Steve and Andrea show up after a hilarious egg mishap, the police are busting the rave. Brandon leaves his car behind, but when he returns the next day the Mustang has been stripped clean. He tells his parents somebody slipped him a drug and tells Emily he can never trust her again.

Emily kann und will nicht akzeptieren, daß Brandon aufgrund der Drogengeschichte mit ihr Schluß gemacht hat. Brenda und Dylan probieren mal etwas anderes aus - und entschließen sich, ein klassisches Konzert zu besuchen. 2.16 MY DESPERATE VALENTINE (U.S.: 11/21/91) Emily is obsessed with winning Brandon back. The Walsh family is getting numerous hang-up crank calls and the Blaze is getting threatening letters. Emily confronts Brandon and insinuates herself into his life, home, and bed. Brandon tells her that he can't love or trust her again. The gang meets at the Walsh house to build a float for the homecoming parade, and Emily inappropriately joins. Emily leaves lovesick messages on the Walsh machine. She shows up for more float activities and Brandon publicly yells at her. Andrea discovers that the newspaper's hate mail was written by Emily. In an angry rage, Emily destroys the float in the middle of the night, pouring gasoline over the debris. Dylan and Brenda return from a classic music concert and find Emily; Brenda dissuades her from igniting the float. The group learns that Emily has a history of emotional problems; Emily realizes she needs help.

Steves Adoptivmutter braucht ihm, damit er ihr bei TV-Star Chucky behilflich ist, was sich als nicht so einfach herausstellt. Seine Suspension von der Schule erweckt in ihm den Wunsch, seine wahren Eltern kennenzulernen. Donna agrees to go to the school dance with David despite her friends' jokes about his age. Kelly's date is Chuckie, who played Steve's mother's son on her television show, Hartley House. Steve always hated Chuckie because he felt his mother was closer to her television son. A Hartley House reunion is in the works, so Steve's mother asks him to be nice to Chuckie for the sake of the show. Chuckie teases Steve for being adopted, and Steve punches him. Chuckie tells Steve to take full blame for the incident or he won't do the reunion show; Steve is suspended. Steve's mother finally realizes that Chuckie is a heel and tells Steve she loves him. Steve leaves for New Mexico to search for his birth parents. Donna tells her friends she likes David no matter what they think--she's proud to date the best dancer in Beverly Hills.

Steve fährt nach New Mexiko und trifft seinen leiblichen Großvater. Dieser zerstört aber seine Hoffnungen, indem er ihm mitteilt, daß seine Mutter tot ist. In New Mexico, Steve looks for his birth parents but finds his grandfather; his mother, Karen Brown, died ten years earlier. Brenda takes a job in a ritzy boutique but is disturbed when her snooty boss asks a man dressed as Santa Claus to leave. The Walshes are wistful for a white Christmas and apply green spray-paint to the dry, brown Christmas tree. Brandon visits Emily at the psychiatric hospital. The Walshes invite everybody over for Christmas Eve but all have other plans.Those plans fall through and, one by one, everybody appears at the Walsh house. Despite her parents' misgivings, Brenda invites the Santa who got kicked out of the store and he gives presents to everybody. Steve returns home and makes up with his mother. Nat comes to the Walsh house with carolers and everybody sings "White Christmas" as Brandon shakes pretend snow outside the window.

Brandon stößt mit einer Eisläuferin zusammen, während er für ein Eishockeymatch trainiert. Doch sie ist zu sehr auf ihre Eislaufkarriere fixiert, um eine Beziehung mit ihm anzufangen. Brendas Job wird schlimmer, als ihr Chef ihr Aufträge wegschnappt. Brandon takes Dylan and Steve to the ice rink to try to interest them in hockey. He sees Trisha, an aspiring figure skater, and is intrigued. The two race around the rink and she wins. She is conflicted over her rigorous schedule and dates Brandon (teaching him how to ice dance!) against her coach's wishes, but then places a disappointing fifth in a competition. When she's offered a second chance to win, she tells Brandon that she really does want to be a skater and can't see him anymore. Brenda continues to work at the ritzy boutique and is pushed to sell expensive things to her friends. Her boss takes credit for whatever sales Brenda makes. Cindy feels this is unscrupulous and comes to the store pretending to be a rich shopper; once she's amassed a pile of expensive clothes, she tells Brenda's boss that she resents her attitude and leaves without buying anything.

Brandon arbeitet undercover für den Beverly Blaze, um im Athletik-Team zu ermitteln, ob es zu Mißbräuchen von Steroiden kommt. Dabei findet er heraus, daß Steve in diesen Mißbrauch involviert ist. Brendas kleiner Autounfall wird für ihren Vater ein großes Problem. Brandon writes an article critical of the track team's performance and the coach asks him to join the team. The macho athletes use steroids and ask Steve to partake. Another teammate tells Brandon about the steroids. He and Andrea contemplate writing an exposé, though Brandon is concerned about a conflict of interest. The guys think Steve squealed and give him much grief. The tattler confesses and Steve is exonerated. The coach addresses the steroid usage. Brenda is finally allowed to drive Brandon's Mustang and rear-ends another car. There appears to be no damage but later the woman sues, saying she was injured. Brenda feels guilty and is angry when her dad is suspicious of the woman's claims. When Brenda goes to visit the woman, however, she spies her doing aerobics without her neck brace. It turns out that the woman is a scam artist and that she actually backed into Brenda.

Andrea möchte erreichen, daß in der Schule die Benutzung von Kondomen erklärt wird. Brandon gefährdet seine Freundschaft zu ihr, als er sie an ihre Jungfräulichkeit erinnert. Die Clique hilft mit Flyern, auf denen zu safer sex aufgerufen wird. Brenda schreibt einen Artikel über ihre Erfahrungen mit der Angst, schwanger zu sein. Dies regt Dylan auf, der der Ansicht ist, das sei ihre Privatsache und gehöre nicht in die Öffentlichkeit. Kelly stimmt mit dieser Ansicht nicht überein, obwohl sie gerade herausgefunden hat, daß ihre Mutter schwanger von Davids Vater ist. Das Thema erweckt in David den Wunsch, mit Donna zu schlafen, und deshalb kauft er mit Steves Hilfe Kondome. Donna will jedoch aufgrund ihres Glaubens keinen Sex vor der Ehe. West Beverly students rally to support the distribution of contraceptives and information about sex. A meeting is held at the Walsh home. Donna's mother is opposed to sex, but Donna speaks in favor of the measures. Andrea militantly supports the plan and becomes quite strident. Brandon tells her if she had more experience with sex she would realize that love isn't a public-health issue; Andrea is deeply hurt. Brenda wants to write an article about her pregnancy scare, which upsets Dylan. David interprets Donna's liberal stances as indications that she wants to have sex, but she tells him--for the first time--that she won't have sex until she's married. Kelly tells Andrea not to fret about virginity; Kelly regrets the way she lost hers and can never get it back. The school board rejects the dispersal of contraceptives but allows information to be distributed. Kelly's mother tells her she's pregnant.

Für den Valentinstag hat sich Dylan eine besondere Überraschung für Brenda ausgedacht, die sich als Besuch im Krankenhaus zur Blutspende entpuppt. Er glaubt, daß er etwas tun muß, weil er selbst nach einem Autounfall Blut gebraucht hatte, als er jünger war. Kelly ist aufgeregt darüber, daß ihre Mutter schwanger ist und schlägt eine Abtreibung vor. Währenddessen findet Donna durch David heraus, daß sein Vater Kellys Mutter einen Hochzeitsantrag machen will, zudem erzählt ihr Kelly von der Schwangerschaft. Donna läßt zu beiden Seiten etwas heraussickern, was ein Durcheinander verursacht. Andrea, Nat, Brandon und Steve gehen zum Pferderennen, und Andrea macht einen satten Gewinn, nachdem sie instinktiv auf Perde mit Namen wie 'Lovesick', 'Unrequited' und 'Grande Amour' gesetzt hat. Kelly's mother, Jackie, is pregnant, but she hasn't yet told Mel, David's father. Kelly tells Donna and Brenda. David tells Donna that his father plans to propose to Jackie on Valentine's Day, and Donna lets it slip that Jackie's pregnant. Kelly tells Jackie that everybody knows about the pregnancy and that Mel's going to propose. Jackie is upset, assuming that Mel's asking only because she's pregnant, and goes to his office to turn him down. As the only one who knew nothing about the pregnancy, Mel is dumbfounded. Finally Jackie realizes that Mel really wants to marry her and accepts. Andrea discovers she has a knack for picking stellar horses with names like "Lovesick" and "Unrequited" and helps Nat win money at the racetrack. As a Valentine's Day surprise, Dylan takes Brenda to donate blood because when he was a child he was in a car accident and needed lots of blood.

Das Peach Pit veranstaltet Karaoke-Abende. Jim Walsh zeigt seine Begeisterung, indem er sein Talent beim Eröffnungsabend präsentiert. Nach ein paar Tagen ist die Clique ziemlich genervt vom mangelnden Können der älteren Sänger. Surferin "Betty", eigentlich Sarah, ist zurück in LA, und ihr Alkoholproblem hat sich verschlimmert. Eine Zeitlang geht sie zu den Anonymen Alkoholikern, doch sie wird durch ihren Freund wieder zum Trinken animiert. Brenda schreibt sich bei einem Übungskurs ein und bekommt dadurch mehr Vorteile als sie denkt, denn sie trifft den College-Studenten Tim Matthews. Gedanken an Dylan halten sie jedoch davon ab, mit ihm auszugehen. Brenda and Kelly attend an aerobics class and a cute guy, Tim, hits on Brenda. She says she'll meet him at the next class. Dylan goes to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting and sees Sarah, a.k.a. Betty, the girl whom Brandon rescued from drowning. Sarah leaves a desperate message on Dylan's machine; Brenda is jealous. Dylan rescues Sarah from her drunk boyfriend and spends the night. They kiss, but Dylan tells her that he has a girlfriend. Brenda goes out with Tim and they kiss. Sarah sinks back into drinking with her abusive boyfriend and Dylan can't help her. In the end, Brenda and Dylan confess their escapades to each other and decide to make things work. In the meantime, Jim has installed a karaoke machine at the Peach Pit, which is fun and hilarious until it draws the wrong element--the group eventually reclaims the Peach Pit's fundamental jukebox style.

Brandon lernt Marcie St. Claire kennen, deren Vater eine geheime Geschäftsmöglichkeit hat, die beinhaltet, daß das Peach Pit abgerissen werden muß, ein großes Einkaufszentrum soll entstehen. Während Brandon alles versucht, um das Vorhaben zu stoppen, gibt Nat schließlich nach und akzeptiert das Angebot. Doch ein Rückzug von DSE Development in letzter Minute kann das Peach Pit retten. Marcie veranstaltet eine "I am blue"-College-Party, zu der Dylan, Steve, Kelly, Donna, Brenda und Brandon eingeladen sind. Doch Brandon hat nicht verstanden, daß er zur Feier etwas Blaues anziehen muß. Nat is having financial trouble at the Peach Pit. In the meantime, a teen advisory board has been convened to analyze a proposed shopping mall. The builder is one of Jim Walsh's clients. The builder's daughter, Marcia, leads the teen meeting. She's a college student and the president of her sorority; all but Dylan are impressed. Marcia takes a liking to Brandon and invites everybody to a sorority party. Brandon realizes the mall will be built where the Peach Pit stands and refuses to participate. He takes Marcia to the Peach Pit but her mind is made up. Nat decides to accept the developers' buy-out offer because he's broke and can't fight the power. Brandon attends the planning commission meeting and speaks out against the project, humiliating Jim. The deal falls through for lack of financing. Everybody celebrates at the Peach Pit.

Die Zwischenprüfungen rücken näher, und Dylan kann sich nicht aufs Lernen konzentrieren. Deshalb beschließt Brenda, ihn durch einen Besuch beim Peach Pit abzulenken. Ein 17jähriger überfällt das Peach Pit und bedroht Brenda mit seiner Waffe, als er versucht, an Nats Geld heranzukommen. Am nächsten Tag hat Brenda Alpträume und rennt schreiend aus ihrer Klasse. Sie besucht einen Psychiater, der bei ihr "Post Traumatic Stress Disorder" diagnostiziert. Andrea sichert einen Polizeibericht, und die Clique unterstützt Brenda, als sie zu einer Gegenüberstellung mit dem Täter gehen muß. Brenda and Dylan try to study but are distracted by their proximity to each other. They go to the Peach Pit, where everybody's cramming for midterms. The gang leaves, and Dylan accompanies Brandon out back to recycle. Brenda stays inside. The door opens and a robber enters, holds a gun to Brenda's head, and forces her to empty the cash register and lie down on the floor while he leaves. When Dylan and Brandon return, they find Brenda and call the police. She's extremely shaken up but says she'll be okay; all are impressed by her bravery. She has flashbacks but doesn't tell anybody, seeking solace in her stuffed horse, Mr. Pony. When she involuntarily screams in class, she realizes she hasn't dealt with the situation. She sees a therapist, identifies the robber in a lineup, and finally regains her courage to return to the Peach Pit.

Brian, Mark, Kevin und Sam von "Color Me Badd" sind in der Stadt, wo sie im Belage Hotel spielen werden. Donna, David, Brenda und Kelly versuchen, Tickets durch eine Radio-Show zu bekommen, haben aber keinen Erfolg. Deshalb bucht David ein Zimmer in diesem Hotel, wo sie dann versuchen, die Band zu treffen. Nur Kelly hat dabei Erfolg und überredet die Band, ein Privatkonzert für Donna im Peach Pit zu geben. Donna ist durcheinander, als sie entdeckt, daß ihrer Mutter im Belage einer Affäre nachgeht. Andrea redet währenddessen genervt auf Steve, Dylan und Brandon ein, um ein Brainstorming für die Schülerzeitung hinzukriegen, doch die drei haben nur Brandy im Kopf, eine Stripperin, die möglicherweise etwas darbieten könnte, wenn Andrea verschwindet. Doch Brandons Vater findet ihre Pläne heraus. Donna, Brenda, David, and Kelly are watching a Color Me Badd video. Donna loves the group and is excited when David says he can get concert tickets. They decide to go on an adventure to the Bel Age Hotel to meet the band, but find a mob of like-minded souls when they arrive. They sneak around the hotel all day trying to gain access to Color Me Badd. Donna sees her mother, Felice, kissing a strange man and is very upset. Kelly makes it to the Color Me Badd floor and becomes friends with the singers. Dylan, Steve, and Brandon call a stripper to the Walsh house. Andrea drops by right before the stripper arrives, ruining the boys' prurient plans. Donna confronts her mother, but is later able to forgive her. David takes Donna to the Peach Pit, where Color Me Badd serenades her in a surprise visit, arranged by Kelly.

Nachdem Brenda sich zu oft nicht an das Ausgehverbot gehalten und bei Dylan übernachtet hat, verbietet ihr Vater ihr, mit ihm nach Baja, Mexiko, zu fahren. Sie fährt jedoch trotzdem. An der Grenze wird sie nach ihrem Ausweis gefragt, doch den hat sie beim Raubüberfall auf das Peach Pit verloren. So muß sie daheim anrufen, wo sie natürlich Ärger mit ihrem Vater bekommt. Jackies Hochzeit rückt näher, und ein junger Arbeiter, Jake Hanson, erregt die Aufmerksamkeit von Kelly. Er arbeitet an der Ausstattung der Hochzeit und wohnt am Melrose Place (!). Steve wird eifersüchtig, als er Jake an Kellys Seite sieht. David kauft Mels Verlobten Jackie Ohrringe zur Hochzeit, während Donna sich Sorgen macht, ob ihre Eltern sich scheiden lassen. Brenda asks the Walshes if she can go to Baja for a weekend with Dylan. To her surprise, they say yes, but she must play by the rules in order to be treated like an adult. She falls asleep at Dylan's while watching a movie and breaks her curfew for the umpteenth time, and Jim forbids her from going to Mexico. She decides to go anyway, lying that she's staying at Kelly's. Kelly and her mother are deep into wedding preparations. One of Dylan's older friends, Jake Hansen, whom Dylan has run into at the beach, is hired to help with the handiwork; he and Kelly hit it off. After a rocky start, Brenda and Dylan enjoy Mexico, but are detained at the border on the way home because Brenda has no identification. Brenda is sure she will be in big trouble.

Nachdem es ein Wasserproblem im Haus der Taylors gibt, findet die Hochzeit von Mel und Jackie in der Casa Walsh statt mit Brenda, Donna und Kelly als Brautjungfern. Andrea glaubt, daß sie nicht eingeladen wurde, doch ihre Mutter hat vergessen, ihr die Einladung zu geben. Später fängt sie den Brautstrauß, ein Symbol dafür, daß sie die nächste sein wird, die heiratet. Donnas Eltern sprechen über Scheidung. Nachdem Jim Brenda an der mexikanischen Grenze abgeholt hat, gibt es für sie und Dylan heftigen Ärger, was Dylan wieder zum Alkohol bringt. Auch Kelly und Brandon bekommen Ärger, weil sie nicht gesagt haben, wo Brenda ist. Kelly beginnt, mit Jake auszugehen. Jim Walsh arrives to retrieve Brenda from the Tijuana border. Back at the Walsh house, Jim and Cindy read Brenda and Dylan the riot act. Jim bans Dylan from the Walsh home. Jackie and Mel's wedding is fast approaching. Andrea feels slighted that she wasn't invited, but later receives her lost invitation in the mail. Dylan suggests that he and Brenda need some distance; Brenda is crushed. Jake finishes his work at the Taylor house and Kelly asks him to be her wedding date, but he says they should just be friends. A pipe bursts in the Taylor house, destroying the wedding plans. The Walshes offer to host the wedding. Cindy tries to facilitate a reconciliation between Jim and Dylan; she fails. Mel and Jackie lovingly exchange vows. Jake appears and tells Kelly he can't walk away from her. Dylan shows up, has another fight with Jim, and roars off in his Porsche.
